Last weekend I was at the Hockenheimring with friends. The speedway was the venue for a two day classic car racing event in memory of Jim Clark who died in a crash on the Hockenheimring in 1968.
Hundreds of classic cars were there, some rare racing cars as well. I never saw so much BMW M1 in one place before… Amazingly enough, the Trabants participating in the races finished in front of some of the M1s, just by surviving all rounds. Half of the M1s broke down due to hard racing. Those drivers don’t play, this is serious racing.
