After diving at Strytan, our Guide Davið took us sightseeing around Lake Mývatn.

After driving around the beautiful lake we stopped at the fumaroles of Hverarönd, shortly after driving through the Námaskarð pass. From there on to the crater Viti, where one of the biggest geothermal power stations is located. After taking dinner at Mývatn (the smoked charr is great), another stop at Goðafoss and then back to Akureyri.
