On our way to Piteå we took the nightrain from Stockholm to Luleå. As we arrived there an hour before sunset (shortly after lunch), we decided to visit the local railway museum.

Unfortunately it was closed, but there is a large open area which you can walk around – or rather could, as it was covered by more than one meter of snow. But fortunately some paths were cleared and we could see some of their large collection of old engines and carriages.
