Last weekend the Coronoa situation allowed to visit the german steam train museum in Neuenmarkt. Neuenmarkt itself is located at the lower end of the “Schiefe Ebene”, a steep incline on the railway line to Hof and further on to Thuringia.
Today the engine shed houses the german steam train museum, wich is run by a foundation and a group of volunteers. The museum is nicely made and in addition to being able to see a lot of interesting steam engines, you can also take a ride on a light railway, which runs on a small circle around the premises.
